My true airspeed, 68% power, 6,500 feet, was 161 mph. It was starting to improve and the ceilings at Wichita and around that area were up to 800 feet. I landed at Cessna’s field and stayed for two •days while the airplane got its annual inspection. The winds were light and I was making about 150 ground speed.
