Innsbruck is one of the most beautiful and spectacular places on earth with an airport that can support a variety of airline equipment up to a small widebody such as the Boeing 767-300ER. For the final approach, I calculated V REF of about 128 was fought with much shear, with airspeed variances of up to 20 to 30 knots, providing a wild ride.

Currently ANA (Not the airline) Aeroportos de Portugal is responsible for the airport and so far it has expanded the airport by building a second terminal which is used exclusively for low cost carriers. The airline offered lounge access and gave us a chance to upgrade to business class but it was an easy decision to skip them.

Congratulations to the airline! Introduction When this airline first came out into the aviation world, I kept misreading it as Alaska Air, anyone else has this issue? Today (July 2024), the airline has a massive fleet of twenty-three 737 MAX 8 with one 737 MAX-8200 in operation (197-seater, higher capacity aircraft).

This meant that I could land normally on the runway, not overshoot, and did not need to be concerned with the airliners on the crossing runway. That produced a strange traffic pattern with roller coasters at the corners.) I could see that the spot on the ground in the windshield that was not moving was short of the runway.
