At this time of blogging) Air India and Vistara will be merged into one airline, with Air India branding continue to exist. Vistara's flight code, UK will no longer exist and so will the airline's website which would direct passengers to Air India's website for booking and redemption. Well, unfortunately today isnt one of those days, as an Azerbaijan Airlines jet bound for Russia diverted to Kazakhstan, where it crashed, killing dozens. Flight #J28243 that crashed near Aktau Airport in Kazakhstan is an Azerbaijan Airlines Embraer ERJ-190 with registration 4K-AZ65. Were there sudden flight control issues?

Currently ANA (Not the airline) Aeroportos de Portugal is responsible for the airport and so far it has expanded the airport by building a second terminal which is used exclusively for low cost carriers. The airline offered lounge access and gave us a chance to upgrade to business class but it was an easy decision to skip them.
