Groundhog Day at Alton Bay

A NOTAM closing Alton Bay was still active until 7:00 am that morning. As expected, the NOTAM closing the ice runway did expire and no new notification replaced it. "Wakey-Wakey, Eggs and Bakey" It almost did not happen. Additionally, a promising forecast nonetheless held some risk. I took my own advice and slept until 7:00 am.
