I also departed with the minimum amount of fuel I was comfortable with (airlines use this strategy to increase performance and/or increase payload capacity). Upgraded wheel pants, flap and aileron seals, vortex generators, and a 3-bladed prop have been added. Our family of four packed less than 50 pounds of luggage.

The wing’s dead-smooth surface plus the tight-fitting aileron and flap brackets plus aileron gap seals give the build a professional factory look (left). One thing I did find was in a quick reversal from a steep bank right to a steep bank left I was able to stall the ailerons—it felt like a detent in the middle of the aileron travel.
