Lufthansa Group purchases further 5 A350-1000s bringing total order to 15

The Lufthansa Group has announced that it has ordered an additional five A350-1000 aircraft, taking the total firm order for the next generation long-haul plane to fifteen. The group declared that the additional aircraft order should be delivered between 2028 and 2030. The total value of the order is valued to be around $2 billion at list price. In total, the Lufthansa Group has ordered 75 A350-900s and A350-1000s, with 28 already in scheduled service and 47 more to be delivered by 2031.

Five days after receiving a letter from 14 pilot organizations, the agency says it has deferred implementation of the policy pending further consultation.
